Sherron and Topher were married on New Year’s Eve at Hotel Galvez in Galveston, Texas, and Genovese Studios was there to capture it all!

We arrived at Hotel Galvez to document Sherron and Topher as they began getting ready. Remaining discreet throughout this time allowed us to photograph Sherron and Topher getting ready with creativity, while still capturing all of the candid moments as they happened. Hotel Galvez overlooks Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, and Sherron and Topher weren’t afraid to use that beautiful scene as a backdrop for their portraits! Unfortunately the weather was less than ideal on New Year’s Eve with steady rain prohibiting Sherron and Topher from having their wedding ceremony outside. They didn’t let the rain put a damper on their wedding day however, braving the elements for their wedding portraits on the front lawn of Hotel Galvez.

Sherron and Topher had plans for an epic New Year’s Eve party for their reception, and their wedding guests gladly abided! Genovese Studios was there to capture it all, photographing all the way through the moment the ball dropped at midnight to their send off at the end of the night!

A special thanks goes out to KG Weddings and Events for coordinating the wedding under less than ideal circumstances with inclement weather and a hotel full of New Year’s Eve guests! Sherron and Topher’s wedding was amazing, thanks in large part to their knowledge and coordination!
